Meet Me Concepts is owned/operated by two long-time community leaders in Southern Arizona.
Jannie Cox, founder of Meet Me at Maynard’s, spent most of her career (26 years) at Carondelet Health Network as the CEO of Carondelet Foundation, retiring in 2009. She serves on the boards of Rio Nuevo District and BBVA Compass Bank, and is a long time member of the Southern Arizona Leadership Council. Jannie has been active in the areas of health, fitness, and economic development in Tucson for 44 years. Jannie’s husband David Syverson is a retired businessman and an active member of Meet Me Concepts, LLC
Randy Accetta produces the most successful running events in Southern Arizona, writes a regular fitness column for the Arizona Daily Star, and is a former national class marathoner. As the Director of Coaching Education for the Road Runners Club of America, Randy is a leader in the national running community. Immediate Past-President of both Greater Tucson Leadership and the non-profit Southern Arizona Roadrunners, Randy has written about running for Runner’s World magazine, Running Times magazine, and the New York Times. He holds a PhD from the University of Arizona where he teaches at the UA’s McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship and at the Norton School of Retailing and Consumer Science. Randy’s wife Tia is also an active member of Meet Me Concepts, LLC.
